Terms of Sale

Prices are shown in your currency and include VAT where VAT applies. Shipping is shown before you pay. Orders delivered outside the EU may be charged import duties and taxes by the destination country; these are paid by you.

Buying for a company (delivery in Denmark or the EU): choose “Buying for a company” in the cart. Prices are then shown without VAT, and you give your company name and VAT number at checkout. Danish companies are charged 25% VAT. Companies in other EU countries with a valid VAT number are charged no VAT (reverse charge) and account for it themselves. If the VAT number turns out not to be valid, we ask you to pay the VAT before we ship. The right of withdrawal in section 5 is a consumer right and does not apply to company purchases.

Payment is handled by Stripe. Your card is charged when you place the order. We never see or store your card number.

The contract is made when we send you an order confirmation by email. If we cannot deliver something you ordered, we tell you and refund what you paid for it.

Atech kits and modules are for ages 14 and up and are not toys. They contain small parts (a choking hazard; keep them away from children under 3), and we recommend adult supervision.

Orders ship within 5–10 business days of your order. If we are delayed, we email you with a new date. If delivery is significantly late, you may cancel the order and get a full refund.

You can cancel your purchase without giving a reason within 14 days of the day you, or someone you name, receive the goods. If an order arrives in several parcels, the 14 days run from the day you receive the last one.

To cancel, send us a clear statement before the 14 days are up, for example an email to [email protected]. You may use the form at the end of these terms, but you do not have to.

Send the goods back to Atech ApS, Lille Strandstræde 6A, st. th., 1254 København K, Denmark, no later than 14 days after you told us you are cancelling.

Return shipping is paid by you. It costs about the same as shipping to you: around USD 15 within Denmark, USD 30 from the EU and USD 45 from the rest of the world.

We refund everything you paid, including the original standard shipping, within 14 days of receiving your cancellation. We use the same payment method you used, at no cost to you. We may hold the refund until we have the goods back or you have shown that you have sent them, whichever comes first.

You may handle and try the goods as you would in a shop. If they lose value because you handled them more than that, we may deduct that loss from the refund.

Under Danish law you can complain about a fault for 2 years from when you received the goods. Tell us within a reasonable time after you notice the fault; within 2 months is always in time.

Email [email protected] with your order number, a description and, if you can, a photo. Depending on the fault, we repair or replace the part, give you a price reduction, or cancel the purchase and refund you. When a complaint is valid, we pay the reasonable cost of sending the faulty part back.

The editor, the generated firmware and the build instructions are tools to help you build. Check your build before powering it, and follow the safety notes for each module. Nothing in this section limits your rights under sections 5 and 6 or under consumer law.

These terms follow Danish law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection that the law of your country gives you.
